Are you planning a trip, perhaps for the holidays? When packing, do you tend to plan for the worst case scenario? I certainly used to. Of the many trips we have taken together or separately, Phillip and I have always over-packed.
Have you heard the saying- “the things you own end up owning you.” This can definitely feel true when traveling. I tend to be something of an independent, trail blazing traveler type thus far. That often means moving about, and especially makes easy mobility important. While preparing for our latest trip, we set a goal to keep it simple, be light on our feet, and unburden ourselves of unnecessary “stuff.” Sounds like a great idea, doesn’t it? No matter what type of trip, with a little planning, simplicity can be a strategy rather than a concept.

Last minute:
You can’t always plan for the unexpected… one wheel fell off our favorite suitcase on our last trip but it gimped along quite well on three wheels! Next purchase- the lightest weight 360-wheel suitcase I can find.
