I am a bit embarrassed to have been absent for a bit. After all, the perfectionist in me would like to be able to do it all, all the time! I do run an interior and landscape design practice as well as write articles for local and regional publications. This year was my first spring as a blogger, and it did prove more than a bit challenging to fit every thing in. My new strategy- I’m writing posts now for next spring!
On the landscape design side of my business… if I had a professional wish, it would be that people think about and plan for their gardens, properties and projects before spring rolls around each year. It is natural and understandable though, as everything, including people, seems to magically come alive and re-energize in the spring. Done well though, gardening is really a year round endeavour, and planning a lovely landscape or outdoor living spaces takes time and orchestration to implement. I’ll leave it at that!
I have also had some technical challenges between my website and blog that seemed to present a daunting roadblock as spring rolled in. So the blog was set aside temporarily.
I am very glad to be back in the groove… how 60’s retro is that! It’s very fashionable these days you know.
