Our family does love Christmas, and each year we add to our indoor and outdoor collection and display of all of that is the holiday season.
Since this is an evolving tradition for our family and we started some years ago, I have always kept to a basically red, green and white color scheme. It does make it easy to add as we go along, and items coordinates nicely. My traditional color scheme came in handy when our daughter was studying in Rome. We added an Italian flag to the outdoor decorations and it fit right in! Here are some photos through the years. Occasionally a rare snow storm will come along and make it all the merrier! The Radko Santa… ok he was from the Home Shopping Network, and the reflecting candle holder from a great candle store that once was- “Illuminations.”

We call this guy “Old Man Winter.” He came from an wonderful store called “Showcase” here in Richmond that used to have all kinds of retail display and seasonal items from yesteryear. He’s about 42″ across. Isn’t he amazing? Wonder where all those decorations are today.
A sweet little snow scene.
